Happy Birthday to me!

If you’re a longtime client, friend or follower, maybe you’ve noticed that I’ve taken a bit of a break from blogging. As my birthday nears this month, I thought there’s no better way to celebrate than with a re-launch! To kick off, here’s a round-up of my recent faves for the home that also make great gifts for the design-minded folks in your life :)

Who doesn’t love a multi-purpose gift? Floor mirrors aren’t only functional, they also bring light into a room, as well as act as a large decorative item. These mirrors are beautiful and because my kiddos broke my floor length mirror playing hide and seek during the height of the pandemic, I also really ‘need’ a new one, so it’s on top of my wish list this year

I love swapping out pillows with a new season. Here are a couple I’m eyeing right now. A high quality pillow, in a neutral color or pattern, is a small luxury that can easily blend in with your gift recipient’s existing living room or bedroom color palette. A bonus tip is to give only the pillow covers, and give them as a set. Your friends surely already have the standard sized pillows and this offers them an eco friendly way to swap in and out their pillow covers seasonally to keep their space feeling fresh!

What’s a birthday without candles? Instead of taking a risk on choosing a scented candle for your loved one, consider a lovely set of tapers. There is no shortage of fun tapers in an array of textures and colors, depending on their style, pick something you know they’d love but they might not buy for themselves.

Finally, these modern, colorful candleholders are sculptures all on their own! Equally beautiful on the celebratory dinner table as they are later on, placed on a shelf or mantel.
